Early November brought the start of holiday cheer with 🎁 Friendship Heights Holiday Market and 🛍️ Alexandria’s Makers Market, where local artisans, foodies, and shoppers turned city streets into joyful, open-air celebrations. ✨
🇹🇷 Turkish Festival (DC) – usually held mid-late October and in recent schedules lands on a Sunday in late October, with traditional food, music, dance, bazaar energy, and cultural performances along Pennsylvania Ave NW in DC. The 2025 schedule shows it on Oct 19 with full-day programming (11 AM–6:30 PM). That’s a great “just happened / keep it on your radar next year” anchor for early November because people love that culture/high-energy street fest.
