This weekend, Spotsylvania lights up. Stars & Stripes Spectacular takes over the Historic Courthouse District Saturday night — 20 food truks, four stages, fireworks over the lawn. It's the biggest outdoor event in the 540 all summer and it lands this week.

But Saturday is stacked beyond one event. The FXBG Pride Festival kicks off at Riverfront Park in the afternoon. The Guilty Pleasures Snack Festival is running all day at the Convention Center. Adult Field Day is back at Strangeways. And Sunday brings Dachshund Day, a cookie decorating class, and swing dancing at Picker's Supply.

📅 Saturday, June 27 · 4PM – 10PM · Spotsylvania Historic Courthouse District

This is the one. Four stages of live entertainment, 20 food truks, 30+ business vendors, Sheriff's Office & Fire & Rescue activities, kids' inflatables — and fireworks at 9:20PM sponsored by Vakos Companies. Free admission. Right in your backyard. If you only do one thing this weekend, point yourself toward the Courthouse District Saturday night.

Rain date is Sunday, June 28 - same time, same place.

🔥 Fire Escape Crazy Burgers — Smash burgers, loaded fries, lines that move fast but build faster. Go early.

🌭 The Dog House VA — Hot dogs, smoked cheddar sausages, pulled pork BBQ, nachos, and cool treats. Classic done right.

🍭 Sugar and Pop — Your dessert cap before the fireworks. Save room.

📍 Fredericksburg Farmers Market

Hurkamp Park, Prince Edward St · 7AM – 1PM

The OG. Fresh produce, local vendors, baked goods, herbs, and everything in between. Art in the Park is also running — first and fourth Saturdays — so bring the kids and the tote bag.

📍 Spotsylvania Farmers Market

9015 Old Battlefield Blvd, Spotsylvania · 9AM – 1PM

If you're starting your day on the Spotsylvania side, this one's your Saturday morning move. Local beef, fresh produce, and that neighborhood farmers market energy. #SupportLocal

King George County Food Truck Rodeo
10459 Courthouse Dr, King George, 11AM – 2PM
Annual outdoor food truk rodeo just over the county line. Spice Nation confirmed with 38+ menu combos — gyros, tacos, samosas, loaded fries, and more.

Fredericksburg Tattoo Invitational
Fredericksburg Convention Center. 3PM–9PM
Three-day celebration of tattoo culture. Top regional artists, live tattooing, contests, and showcases. All experience levels welcome.

Downtown Sounds: Goodtime Alibi
Market Square, Downtown FXBG. 6PM - 8PM
FAM's beloved summer concert series is back. Alt rock on the square — bring a blanket or a lawn chair.

Ally Ray Live
Spirits Bar & Restaurant, Upstairs Patio, 6PM–9PM
Rock and country covers on the rooftop patio. Free entry — one of the better-kept Friday night spots downtown.

Pride with Extreme Prejudice @ City Vino
100 Hanover St, FXBG, 7:30PM
Improv comedy with the Confident Rooster Society. Wine flights included with your ticket. Think Regency chaos meets drag-era wit.

Synthwave Showcase: Megatronix & Power Rob
Reclaim Arcade, 2324 Plank Rd, 8PM
Baltimore-based power metal meets lush synthesizers. $15 includes free play on 75+ arcade and pinball machines. 18+ bar and dinner menu.

Saturday is Pride Day in Fredericksburg. The FXBG Pride Festival runs 11AM–4PM at Riverfront Park — free, all ages, with a vendor market and community programming. Then the party moves downtown: the Pride After Party takes over Market Square 6PM–11PM with dancing, music, food, drinks, and drag performers. 18+ after 8PM.

Three Truks. One game plan. Here’s how to eat well at Stars & Stripes

🔥 First stop: Fire Escape Crazy Burgers. Get there between 4–5PM before the crowds settle in. Smash burgers sell out — this is not a "circle back later" situation.

🌭 Mid-evening: The Dog House VA. Hot dogs, smoked cheddar sausages, pulled pork BBQ, nachos. Good for families, good for grazing. Grab something to hold you through the entertainment sets.

🍭Pre-fireworks: Sugar and Pop. Around 8:30–9PM, swing by for something sweet. Then find your spot on the east end of the grounds for the best sightline. Fireworks at 9:20PM — blanket down by 9PM or you're watching over shoulders.

Guilty Pleasures Snack Festival

Bakeries, candy makers, gourmet snack creators, dessert artisans. One roof. All the good stuff. Handcrafted chocolates, loaded sweets, gourmet popcorn, and indulgent bites you won't find at a box store.

FXBG Pride Festival 2026
Riverfront Park, 600 Sophia St, 11AM–4PM
Community festival along the river. Vendors, programming, all ages welcome.

Strangeways Brewing Anniversary Party

A full day at Strangeways: Patrick the Magician 1–3PM, local vendors, games, raffles, and food truks. Then at 8PM, Midgets With Attitude wrestling takes the floor (doors at 7PM). Truks On-Site

Adult Field Day
Strangeways Brewing — outdoor field, 3PM-6PM
Tug-of-war, sack races, relay races, water balloons, dodgeball, obstacle course, music, prizes, and Strangeways beer. $30 online, cheapest team wins the best prize.

Stars & Stripes Spectacular

The hero. 4 stages, 20 food truks, fireworks at 9:20PM. Free. Fire Escape Crazy Burgers on-site all night. Rain date: Sunday June 28.

Sip n' Spin Wheel Throwing with Kevin

2026 FXBG Pride After Party

Beginner lesson 7:30–8PM, then open dancing until 11PM. No partner or experience needed. $10 at the door covers both.
